Intel Processor History

In the post once I've been posting about the history of computers, now that I nemu lagi neh, hopefully, useful for my friend, colleague and friend who is a summary needed .This history of computer development, particularly on Intel processor output

1978: 8086-8088 MicroprocessorAn important sales in computer division occurs in the product for IBM personal computers that use the 8088 processor had boosted Intel's name.

1982: 286 MicroprocessorIntel 286 or better known by the name of 80,286 is a first processor that can recognize and use the software that is used for the previous processor.

1985: Intel386 ™ MicroprocessorIntel 386 is a processor that has 275,000 transistors are embedded diprosessor that when compared to 4004 has 100 times more compared with 4004.

1989: Intel486 ™ DX CPU MicroprocessorThe first processor allows various applications that had to type in command-command into just a click, and has a complex mathematical functions that decrease the workload on the processor.

1993: Intel ® Pentium ® ProcessorNew generation processor capable of handling various types of data such as voice, sound, handwriting, and photographs.

1995: Intel ® Pentium ® Pro ProcessorProcessor is designed for use on server and workstation applications, which made for quick data processing, this processor has a 5.5 jt embedded transistor.

1997: Intel ® Pentium ® II ProcessorPentium II processor is a processor that incorporates Intel MMX is designed specifically to process video data, audio, and graphics efficiently. There are 7.5 million transistors integrated in it so that the processor is a PC user can process the data and use the Internet better.

1998: Intel ® Pentium II Xeon ® ProcessorProcessor is made for the needs of server applications. Intel when it wants to fulfill that strategy to provide a unique processor for a particular market.

1999: Intel ® Celeron ® ProcessorProcessor Intel Celeron processor which is issued as a processor intended for users who do not really need the performance of a faster processor for users who want to build a computer system with a budget (prices) are not too large. Intel Celeron processor has a shape and the same formfactor with an Intel Pentium type, but only with the instructions a little more, its L2 cache is smaller, the speed (clock speed) is slower, and cheaper prices than Intel processors Pentium types. With this solution the Celeron processor in the Intel back to a processor for a particular market.

1999: Intel ® Pentium ® III ProcessorPentium III processor is a processor that was given an additional 70 new instructions that dramatically enhance high-level imaging capabilities, three-dimensional, audio streaming, and video applications and voice recognition.

1999: Intel ® Pentium ® III Xeon ® ProcessorIntel re-crawl the server and workstation market by issuing a series Xeon Pentium III but the type that has 70 SIMD instructions. Advantage of this processor is that it can speed up the processing of information from the system bus to the processor, which also significantly boosting performance. This processor is also designed to integrate with other similar processor.

2000: Intel ® Pentium ® 4 ProcessorPentium IV processor is an Intel product that speeds the process is able to reach speeds of up to 3.06 GHz. The first time exit-speed 1.5GHz processor with 423 pins formafactor, then change the formfactor Intel Intel Pentium 4 processor into the 478 pin starting from the Intel Pentium 4 processor 1.3 GHz speed up technology that currently able to penetrate up to 3.4 GHz speed.

2001: Intel ® Xeon ® ProcessorProcessor Intel Pentium 4 Xeon is Intel's Pentium 4 processors that are specific to act as a server computer. This processor has a pin count more than the Intel Pentium 4 processor and the L2 cache memory is greater.

2001: Intel ® Itanium ® ProcessorIs the first Itanium processor-based 64-bit is intended for usage on servers and workstations as well as specific users. This processor is built with a structure completely different from previous designs based on Intel's technology and Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing (EPIC).

2002: Intel ® Itanium ® 2 ProcessorItanium 2 is the second generation of the Itanium family.

2003: Intel ® Pentium ® M Processor855 chipset, and Intel ® PRO / Wireless 2100 is a component of Intel ® Centrino ™. Intel Centrino made to meet the market needs the existence of a portable computer anywhere.

2004: Intel Pentium M processor 735/745/755Equipped with the 855 chipset with new features 2Mb L2 Cache, 400MHz system bus and processor socket compatibility with the Pentium series M before.

2004: E7520/E7320 Intel Chipsets7320/7520 can be used for dual processor configurations with 800MHz FSB, DDR2 400 memory, PCI Express peripherals and interfaces.

2005: Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.73GHzA dedicated processor for the market of computer users who want something more than a computer, this processor configuration frequency 3.73GHz, 1.066GHz FSB, EM64T, 2MB L2 cache and HyperThreading.

2005: Intel Pentium D 820/830/840Processor-based 64-bit and dual core processors called for using 2 pieces core, with 1MB L2 cache configuration for each core, 800MHz FSB, and can operate at a frequency of 2.8GHz, 3.0GHz, and 3.2GHz. In this type of processor is also included support HyperThreading.

2006: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Processor for desktop and type used in people who want more power than the computer that he had had with 2 pieces core 2.4GHz configuration with 8MB of L2 cache (up to 4MB of which can be accessed each core), 1.06GHz front-side bus, and thermal design power (TDP).
2006: Intel Quad-core Xeon X3210/X3220Processor used to type the server and has a core with 2 pieces each have a 2.4GHz configuration and 2:13, respectively, with 8MB of L2 cache (4MB achieve accessed for each core), 1.06GHz front-side bus, and thermal design power (TDP).
